This study explores the application of the Six Sigma methodology within an industrial
manufacturing organization, aiming to assess the organization's readiness for
implementation and the methodology's effectiveness in improving operational
performance. The research examines employee awareness, organizational culture, and the
availability of necessary technical and managerial capabilities for successful deployment.
Through a detailed analysis of the existing production environment, the study identified
key challenges such as high levels of production waste, inconsistency in meeting customer
requirements, and the absence of a structured approach for continuous improvement and
problem-solving. To address these issues, a focused improvement project was initiated
with support from top management, involving employee training and the formation of a
cross-functional improvement team.
The Six Sigma methodology was applied using the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure,
Analyze, Improve, Control), leading to noticeable improvements across multiple areas.
These included enhanced product quality, reduced process variability, better alignment
with customer expectations, and a significant reduction in operational losses.
The study confirmed that the successful application of Six Sigma requires an enabling
environment supported by leadership commitment, employee engagement, data
availability, and structured quality systems. It also highlighted the value of Six Sigma as
a practical approach for driving operational excellence and promoting a culture of
continuous improvement in manufacturing organizations.
Future recommendations include the development of implementation frameworks for
small and medium enterprises, integration of Six Sigma with other quality systems, and
ongoing evaluation of its effectiveness across various sectors.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تطبيق منهجية ستة سيجما داخل منظمة صناعية، من أجل تقييم مدى جاهزية المنظمة لتطبيق المنهجية وفاعليتها في تحسين الأداء التشغيلي. تناولت الدراسة وعي العاملين بأهمية تطبيق ستة سيجما، ومدى توافق الثقافة التنظيمية، وتوافر المهارات الفنية والإدارية اللازمة لنجاح التنفيذ.
من خلال تحليل مفصل للوضع القائم، كشفت الدراسة عن وجود عدد من التحديات مثل ارتفاع نسب الهدر الإنتاجي، وعدم ثبات جودة المنتجات، وصعوبة تحقيق رضا العملاء، بالإضافة إلى غياب منهجية واضحة للتحسين المستمر وحل المشكلات. وللتغلب على هذه التحديات، تم تنفيذ مشروع تحسين بدعم من الإدارة العليا، شمل تدريب العاملين وتشكيل فريق عمل متخصص يقود جهود التحسين.
تم تطبيق منهجية ستة سيجما باستخدام نموذج DMAIC (التحديد، القياس، التحليل، التحسين، الرقابة)، مما أدى إلى تحقيق مجموعة من النتائج الإيجابية، من بينها تحسين جودة المنتجات، تقليل التباين في العمليات، رفع كفاءة العمليات التشغيلية، وتعزيز رضا العملاء. أظهرت الدراسة أن نجاح تطبيق ستة سيجما يتطلب بيئة داعمة تشمل التزام الإدارة العليا، ومشاركة العاملين، وتوافر البيانات، ونظم جودة فعّالة. كما أكدت على أن ستة سيجما تمثل مدخلًا عمليًا لتحقيق التميز التشغيلي وترسيخ ثقافة التحسين المستمر في المؤسسات الصناعية.
وتوصي الدراسة بإعداد أطر عمل لتطبيق المنهجية في المنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة، ودراسة إمكانية دمجها مع نظم الجودة الأخرى، وتقييم نتائجها في قطاعات مختلفة
