This double fold study was designed to compare the microleakage and shear bond strength to dentin of two one step adhesives ; PLP and IB with reference to the three step total etch SBMPSixty sound human premolar teeth were selected to conduct the study , 30 teeth for each testingFor the microleakage study , standardized box shape cavities (3x2x2 mm) were prepared on the proximal surfaces of the selected teeth , with the gingival margin laying 1mm above the CEJThe cavosurface angle was prepared to be butt jointThe prepared cavities were randomly divided into three groups (10 specimens each) according to the bonding system used before the microleakage study
