This thesis deals with the synthesis of new benzothiazole derivatives bearing functionalized ary1 and bioactive heterocyole moieties at the 2nd and 3rd positions and some of the new target compound were subjected to in vivo anti - inflammatory analgesic and ulcerogenic screening. The most Pharmacologically active candidates were evaluated for their in vitro COX inhibition activites
