In the current study, we report our experience with complete pathological response after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer, and include a summary of the current literature to provide a reference for the management of this disease. The aim of the current study is to evaluate the impact of complete pathological response following neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the surgical decision in breast cancer patients. We collected and analyzed retrospective data on the pathology, management, of patients with breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy who underwent surgical management at department of surgical oncology, National Cancer Institute, Cairo University (NCI) from (January 2013 - December 2017).Total number of Breast cancer received neo-adjuvant chemotherapy from 2013 to 2017 were 402. Those who did MRM were 334, 68 patients did conservative operation. Percentage who did MRM were 83.1% while those who did conservative 16.9% Of 402 patients of breast cancer who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy with 95 patients showed complete response. 14 out of 95 patients had conservative breast surgery while the rest had modified radical mastectomy
