The alar rim is an important aesthetic feature of the face and its surgery is one of the most interesting and challenging parts of rhinoplasty operation. Success in rhinoplasty surgery begins with a sound concept of beauty, symmetry, harmony, and proportion. Aim of work: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate and analyze the use of alar rim cartilage graft in the Egyptian nose and to state the indications, advantages, and disadvantages of the usage of these grafts. The current study included thirty Egyptian patients seeking rhinoplasty in 2015& 2016. The use of alar rim cartilage graft helped in the control of the alar dynamics and the aesthetic outcome was almost satisfactory
