تسعى هذه الرسالة إلى دراسة تطور النظرية الأخلاقية عند هيجل، من الأخلاق الصورية التي تتمثل في التصورات الفردية المجردة، إلى الأخلاق الاجتماعية التي تتجلى في المؤسسات القانونية والسياسية والاجتماعية. تنطلق الدراسة من تتبع تأثر هيجل بالفكر الأخلاقي اليوناني، خاصة في مأساة أنتيجون، وتنتقل إلى تحليله ونقده للأخلاق الكانطية التي يراها شكلية ومنفصلة عن الواقع الملموس. كما تبحث الرسالة في التحولات التي طرأت على تصور هيجل للأخلاق في كتاباته اللاهوتية المبكرة وفي فينومينولوجيا الروح، حيث تُفهم الأخلاق كعملية جدلية لنمو الوعي الذاتي نحو الحرية. وتتوّج الدراسة في كتاب مبادئ فلسفة الحق الذي يعرض فيه هيجل رؤيته للأخلاق باعتبارها جزءًا من البنية الكلية للحق، حيث تتحقق الحرية ضمن مؤسسات الأسرة، والمجتمع المدني، والدولة. وتهدف الرسالة إلى إظهار كيف تجاوز هيجل الطابع الفردي والذاتي للأخلاق نحو تأسيسها على العقلانية والواقع الاجتماعي والسياسي

This thesis explores the development of Hegel’s ethical theory, tracing the transition from formal, abstract morality to socially embodied ethics within legal, political, and institutional frameworks. The study begins by examining Hegel’s engagement with Greek ethical thought, particularly the tragedy of Antigone, and moves to his critical analysis of Kantian morality, which he regards as overly formal and detached from concrete reality. It then investigates the evolution of Hegel’s ethical thinking in his early theological writings and in the Phenomenology of Spirit, where ethics is viewed as a dialectical process of self-consciousness unfolding toward freedom. The study culminates in an analysis of The Philosophy of Right, where Hegel articulates ethics as a component of the rational structure of right, achieved through the institutions of family, civil society, and the state. The thesis demonstrates how Hegel overcomes the limitations of subjective morality by grounding ethics in rational, social, and political reality
