Background: Neutropenia is a major side effect of anticancer chemotherapy that considers serious condition. Thusly, the Implementation of electronic medication management system (EMMS) will improve the medication turnaround time in order to decrease waiting time and enhance the early initiation of empirical antibacterial therapy which will lead to an improved neutropenic outcome. Aim: The current study was conducted to assess the effect of medical staff adherence to EMMS on a medication turnaround time and neutropenic patient outcomes. Research Design: A descriptive correlational design was selected to achieve the aim of the present study and answer research questions. Setting The study was conducted at children cancer hospital / Egypt CCHE 57357 in the day care unit and emergency department. Subjects: A convenience sample of medical staff (n = 82) that was composed of (physicians, staff nurses, pharmacists) who are working in selected department, and a convenience sample of neutropenic patients' electronic medications records (n=317). Data Collection Tools: Data were collected by the following tool which divided into five parts as the following; demographic data of medical staff, demographic data of a neutropenic patient,EMMS adherence audit chart, medication turnaround time audit chart, and febrile neutropenic patient outcomes audit chart.Results The result revealed that all of the medical staff had got moderate adherence to the Electronic Medication Management Systems. Also, insignificant difference was found between medical staff adherence level to the Electronic Medication Management Systems and medication turnaround time. Furthermore, there was a significant relation between medication turnaround time and neutropenic patient outcome. Recommendation: The current study recommended that the importance of the application of computerized physician order entry (CPOE). Besides, designing a training program for all medical staff about EMMS and neutropenic fever management
