The present work aims at collecting the most dominant marine soft corals: Sinularia polydactyla and Lobophytum crassum from the Egyptian Red Sea coasts and evaluating their potential anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral activities, with subsequent fractionation of both investigated soft corals, to finally discover new lead compounds with promising biological activity
