[Background] Neck pain is regarded as one of the most prevalent musculoskeletal pathologies. Forward head posture (FHP) is considered as one of the commonly recognized improper head postures adopted in patients with cervical pain. The foot is an essential segment of the biokinetic chain linking the lower limb to the spine through the pelvis. It was proved to be associated with postural abnormalities in the pelvis, the thoracic spine, and cervicogenic headache. [objectives] The objective of this study was to assess the association between neck pain, function, and head posture with foot posture in non-specific neck pain (NSNP). Also, to investigate the correlation between neck pain and function with head posture. [Study design] A Cross-sectional study. [Patients and Methods] Eighty-four participants of both genders, aging between18 and 29 years, diagnosed with chronic NSNP were included. Patients were recruited from the orthopedic clinic and student population of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Beni Suef University. It was conducted from May 2024 to August 2024. The neck pain intensity, neck function, head posture, and foot posture were evaluated using visual analogue scale, neck disability index, cranio-vertebral angle using a photographic posture analysis, and foot posture index, respectively. [Results] Our findings showed a non-significant association between pain levels (p = 0.45) (t = 3.57), disability levels (p = 0.45) (t = 3.83) and neck posture (p = 0.55) (t =1.39) with foot posture. Also, the results showed weak negative non-significant correlation between neck pain (r = -0.051, p = 0.646) and function (r = -0.046, p = 0.675) with head posture [Conclusion] There is no association between neck pain, function, and head posture with foot posture in NSNP. Similarly, there is no association between neck pain and function with head posture.

الخلفية: يُعد ألم الرقبة واحدًا من أكثر الاضطرابات العضلية الهيكلية شيوعًا. كما يُعتبر انحناء الرأس الأمامي أحد أكثر أوضاع الرأس غير السوية انتشارًا بين المرضى الذين يعانون من آلامٍ في الرقبة. يُعد القدم جزءًا أساسيًا في السلسلة البيوكينتيكية التي تربط الطرف السفلي بالعمود الفقري عبر الحوض. وقد ثبت ارتباط وضع القدم بظهوراضطرابات وضعية في الحوض، العمود الفقري الصدري والصداع العنقي.
الغرض: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم الارتباط بين ألم الرقبة، الوظيفة، ووضع الرأس من جهة، ووضع القدم لدى الأفراد الذين يعانون من ألم الرقبة غير المحدد. كما هدفت إلى بحث العلاقة بين ألم الرقبة والوظيفة مع وضع الرأس.
تصميم الدراسة: دراسة مقطعية.
المرضي والطرق: اربع وثمانون مريضا من الجنسين تتراوح اعمارهم ما بين 18 الي 29 عاما تم تشخيصهم بآلام الرقبة غير المحددة تم اختيارهم من العيادة الخارجيه و من طلبة كليه العلاج الطبيعي جامعه بني سويف في الفترة من مايو 2024 حتي اغسطس 2024. تم قياس شدة آلام الرقبة و درجة الوظيفة و وضعية الرقبة و وضعية القدم من خلال مقياس الألم المرئى واستبيان مؤشر اعاقة الرقبة وقياس زاوية الجمجمة والفقرة باستخدام طريقة التحليل الفوتوغرافي ومؤشر وضعية القدم علي التوالي.
النتائج :أظهرت نتائجنا عدم وجود ارتباط ذي دلالة إحصائية بين مستويات الألم (p = 0.45 (t = 3.57, ، ودرجة الوظيفة (p = 0.45, t = 3.83)، ووضعية الرأس (p = 0.55, t = 1.39) مع وضعية القدم. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة سلبية ضعيفة وغير دلالّة إحصائيًا بين ألم الرقبة (‏r = -0.051, p = 0.646) والوظيفة (‏r = -0.046, p = 0.675) مع وضع الرأس.
الاستنتاج: لا يوجد إرتباط بين ألم الرقبة، ووظيفة الرقبة، ووضعية الرأس مع وضعية القدم لدى الأفراد المصابين بآلام الرقبة غير المحددة.وكذلك لا توجد علاقة بين آلام الرقبة والوظيفة مع وضعية الرقبة
