520 _aThe survey was conducted in El-Behera (El-Nubaria), El-Ismailia (El-ksassien), El-Giza (El-Saf), El–Sharquia (El-Salhia) in two summer seasons.. Nine nematode genera of plant parasitic nematode were recorded in clouding to different soil types; Helicotylenchus, Heterodera, Longidorus, Meloidogyne, Paratylenchus, Pratylenchus, Rotylenchulus, Tylenchorhynchus and Xiphinema. Longidorus genus was absent in El-Behera, Xiphinema genus was absent in El-Sharquia. The genus Meloidogyne was recorded the highest frequency of occurrence in El-Behera and the highest population density in El-Sharquia. Governorates of El-Sharquia, El-Behera and El-Ismailia had the highest frequency of occurrence and population density while El-Giza Governorate was the lowest frequency of occurrence and population density of the genus Meloidogyne spp
