520 _aThe present study was carried out to compare the retention of two groups of frameworks having different methods of construction. Both frameworks were used to retain four implant-supported mandibular overdentures. Retention was evaluated using universal testing machine after mechanical aging that was carried out using chewing simulator. The intervention group was the milled Co-Cr framework group while control group was the cast Co-Cr framework group. One epoxy models of completely edentulous mandible were constructed and prepared to receive four implants in each model. Six frameworks were constructed; three cast Co-Cr frameworks and three milled Co-Cr frameworks. Then retention values were measured at baseline using universal testing machine and then the models in each group were subjected to different chewing cycles 12500 and 37500 cycles using ROBOTA chewing simulator. Both the cast and the milled cobalt-chromium groups showed a statistically significant decrease in retention when subjected to different cycles. At baseline, Group C recorded (12.846 ± 1.604) while Group M recorded (15.552 ± 1.408). After 12500 cycles (1 month), Group C recorded (11.001 ± 1.411) while Group M recorded (14.818 ± 1.286) and after 37500 cycles (3 months), Group C recorded (9.046 ± 0.696), while Group M recorded (9.0319 ± 1.374) with P<0.0001. The overall % change in retention recorded (-29.58%) in Group C while it recorded (-40.078%) in Group M.
520 _aأجريت هذه الدراسة لمقارنة الكروم- الكوبلت المصبوب مقابل الكروم- الكوبلت المخروط المثبت تلسكوبيا لطقم فوقي مثبت بالزراعه. باستخدام آلة اختبار عالمية بعد التقادم الميكانيكي الذي تم بواسطة جهاز محاكاة المضغ. كانت مجموعة التدخل عبارة عن الكروم- الكوبلت المخروط مرفق كانت مجموعة التحكم الكروم- الكوبلت المصبوب هي مجموعة محدد المواقع. تم بناء نموذجان من إيبوكسي للفك السفلي عديم الأسنان تمامًا وتجهيزه لتلقي اربعة غرسات. تم بناء عشرة أطقم مثبتة. ثم تم قياس قيم الاحتفاظ بعد التقادم الميكانيكي. تم جدولة النتائج وتحليلها إحصائيا للوصول إلى النتيجة.
