| 520 | _aAim: The aim of this study is to assess the clinical and radiological lung abnormalities and sequle of COVID 19 infection and to formulate a speculation about the possible treatment regimen according to different outcomes. Patients and methods: •Through History taking: dyspnea using MMRC and its progression, cough, anosmia, palpitation, easy fatigability. •Labs is withdrawen ( CBC ,CRP, D-dimer,ferritin) •Computed tomography of the chest, determination of the most prominent pattern in CT whether OP or fibrotic. •CT pulmonary angiography when indicated. •Re-evaluation of CT chest after one, three and six months. •Stair climbing test as a marker of exercise tolerance with assessment of desaturation difference between the baseline SPO2 and post exercise SPO2. •Data will be tabulated and statistically analyzed. Results: highly statistical significant increased Lymphocytes at 3 months was detected when compared with lymphocytes at admission. No statistical significant correlation between CT score at admission and number of co-morbidities. Increased So2 associated with low CT score, while increase CRP level associated with deterioration of CT lung score. Decrease lymphocytes associated with high CT score, on the other han, high level of ferritin associated with icreased CT score. It was found that most of the lung abnormalities were reticulations and diffuse ground-glass opacities. There was a strong relationship between high C-reactive protein and D-dimer and the severity of Covid infection. There was a highly statistical significant relationship between high C-reactive protein and D-dimer and the severity of Covid infection. No statistically significant differences were observed between the patients under study in terms of the relationship of smoking with the severity of lung injury. It has also been shown that the severity of CT score gradually decreases over time, regardless of the treatment that was given(Pirfinidone or colchicine) , or the degree of severity of COVID disease itself. | ||
