520			_aAs there are no previous studies conducted on South American camelids (SACs) and domestic bactrian camel in Egypt therefore, the present study was aimed to establish of normal reference values for rumen fluid and hematobiochemical parameters of SACs and bactrian camels under effect of sex and season in Egypt and make a comparison between them and dromedary camels in the last mentioned parameters under Egyptian conditions. Samples from llamas, alpacas and bactrian camels were taken from the Giza Zoo and a private zoo in the Ismailia governorate while samples from dromedary camels were taken from El- Warraq slaughter house in Giza governorate. Hematology, serum biochemistry and rumen fluid constituent values of clinically healthy llamas under Egyptian circumstances were different in PCV, serum minerals, rumen fluid pH and total protozoal count from those of authors in other countries, while the rest of parameters were similar to other reports. There was a significant effect of sex and season on serum biochemistry and rumen fluid constituents. Rumen fluid and hematobiochemical parameters values of apparently healthy alpacas bred under Egyptian conditions were consistent with those in other countries, while slight differences were observed in mean and range values of total protozoal count and serum minerals. There was a significant effect of season on rumen fluid, hematology, and serum biochemistry constituents of alpaca, while the effect of sex on these parameters was minimal. Hematobiochemical parameters of bactrian and dromedary camels were consistent with some of previous studies and differ from others which were conducted in different environmental and geographical areas. Although both bactrian and dromedary camels are from the genus Camelus, it appears that some species variations exist between the two species in many hematobiochemical parameters (RBCs, MCV, MCH, monocytes count, ALT, LDH, GGT, albumin, calcium, magnesium, urea and creatinine).Rumen fluid constituents (color, ammonia, pH, total protozoal count and activity and minerals), hematological parameters (RBCs, MCV, MCH, MCHC, total leucocytes count, relative and absolute lymphocytes count and relative neutrophils count) and serum biochemical parameters (ALT, LDH, GGT, AST, total protein, albumin, globulin, A/G ratio, and magnesium, phosphorus, creatinine, urea, and cholesterol) showed significant variation between dromedary camels, llamas and alpacas bred in Egypt.
520			_aنظرًا لعدم وجود دراسات سابقة أجريت على جمال امريكا الجنوبيه (اللاما والالباكا) وجمل البكتريان في مصر، فقد استهدفت الدراسة الحالية تحديد قيم مرجعية لسائل الكرش ولمكونات والكيمياء الحيويه للدم لجمال امريكا الجنوبيه (اللاما والالباكا) وجمل البكتريان تحت تأثير الجنس والموسم في مصر وإجراء مقارنة بينهم والجمل العربي في المعايير المذكورة في ظل الظروف المصرية. تم أخذ عينات من اللاما والألباكا والجمال البكتريان من حديقة حيوان الجيزة وحديقة حيوان خاصة بمحافظة الإسماعيلية، بينما تم أخذ عينات من الجمال العربي من مجزر الوراق بمحافظة الجيزة. كانت قيم مكونات الدم والكيمياء الحيوية للدم وسائل الكرش لللاما السليمة ظاهريا في ظل الظروف المصرية مختلفة في حجم الخلايا المنضغطه ومعادن الدم ودرجة الحموضة لسائل الكرش والعدد الإجمالي للأواليات عن تلك الخاصة بالباحثين في البلدان الأخرى، بينما كانت بقية المكونات مماثلة للدراسات السابقه. كان هناك تأثير معنوي للجنس والموسم على الكيمياء الحيوية للدم ومكونات سائل الكرش. كانت قيم سائل الكرش والكيمياء الحيوية الدموية للألباكا السليمه ظاهريا والتي تمت تربيتها في الظروف المصرية متسقة مع تلك الموجودة في البلدان الأخرى، بينما لوحظت اختلافات طفيفة في القيم المتوسطة والمدى لإجمالي لعدد الأوليات فى سائل الكرش ومعادن الدم. كان هناك تأثير كبير للموسم على سائل الكرش، ومكونات والكيمياء الحيوية للدم فى الألباكا، في حين كان تأثير الجنس على هذه القيم ضئيلا. كانت نتائج مكونات و الكيمياء الحيوية للدم في الجمال البكتيريان والجمال العربيه متوافقة مع بعض الدراسات السابقة وتختلف عن الدراسات الأخرى التي أجريت في مناطق بيئية وجغرافية مختلفة. على الرغم من أن كلاً من البكتيريان والجمل العربي ينتميان إلى جنس Camelus، إلا أنه يبدو تواجد اختلافات بين الجملين في العديد من المعايير الكيميائية الحيوية للدم (عدد كرات الدم الحمراء، MCV، MCH، عدد الوحيدات، ALT، LDH، GGT، الألبيومين، الكالسيوم، المغنيسيوم، اليوريا و الكرياتينين). مكونات سائل الكرش (اللون، الأمونيا، درجه الحموضه، العدد الإجمالي للأواليات ونشاطها والمعادن)، مكونات الدم (كرات الدم الحمراء، MCV، MCH، MCHC، إجمالي عدد كريات الدم البيضاء، عدد الخلايا الليمفاوية النسبية والمطلقة وعدد العدلات النسبية) و الكيميائية الحيوية للدم ( ALT, LDH وGGT وAST والبروتينات الكلية والألبيومين والجلوبيولين ونسبة الالبيومين للجلوبيولين والمغنيسيوم والفوسفور والكرياتينين واليوريا والكوليسترول) في الجمل العربي واللاما والألباكا اظهرت تباينًا كبيرًا بين الثلاثة حيوانات المرباه فى مصر.
