520			_aيتناول موضوع الدراسة وجهة نظر المؤرخ الأرمني مَتَّى الرُهَاوي Matthew of Edessa في أحداث الحملة الصليبية الأولي مع تسليط الضوء علي دور الأرمن في تلك الحملة وذكر تفاصيل المساعدات الأرمنية لقادة الحملة الصليبية الأولي. والمعروف أن المصادر الأرمنية تحتل مكانة بالغة في دراسة تاريخ الحروب الصليبية وعلي هذا النحو سوف تستعرض هذه الدراسة أحداث الحملة الصليبية الأولي في ضوء حولية مَتَّى الرُهَاوي وذلك من المنظور الأرمني وتوضيح ما جاء به المؤرخ الأرمني من جديد يختلف عن كافة المصادر الأخرى الإسلامية أو اللاتينية أوالبيزنطية أوالسريانية , وحتى الأرمنية ذاتها , وسوف توضح الدراسة الدور البارز الذي لعبه الأرمن في مساعدة قادة الحملة الصليبية الأولي في تأسيس الامارات الصليبية . مع تسليط الضوء علي العلاقات الودية بين الأرمن والصليبيين بعد تأسيس الأمارات الصليبية ثم تحول العلاقات بينهما بعد ذلك إلي علاقات عدائية ودخول الأرمن مع الصليبيين في صراع مرير أدي في النهاية إلي استيلاء الصليبيين علي أملاك الأرمن . كذلك تتعرض الدراسة إلى علاقة الأرمن بجيرانهم خاصة كلا من الكرج بجورجيا والمسلمين , وموقف الأرمن من حركة الجهاد الإسلامى ضد العدوان الصليبى.
520			_aThe subject of the study deals with a point of view of the Armenian historian Matthew of Edessa in the events of the first crusade. With highlight the role of the Armenians in the campaign and the details of Armenian aid to the leaders of the first crusade were reported. It is known that Armenian sources occupy an important place in the study of the Crusades. As such the study will review the events of the first crusade in the light of the history of Matthew of Edessa. From the Armenian point of view and Review of what the Armenian historian is new and different from all other sources of Islamic or Latin, Byzantine or Syrian, and even the Armenian itself. The study will explain the prominent role played by the Armenians in assisting the leaders of the first crusade in founding the crusader settlements with highlighting the friendly relations between the Armenians and the crusaders after the founding of the crusader settlements, then the relationship between them changed then turned into hostile relationships. And the entry of the Armenians with the crusaders in bitter conflict in the end, the crusaders took possession of Armenian property. The study also shows the Armenian relations with their neighbors especially the Karaj in (Georgia) and Muslims and the position of the Armenians of the Islamic Struggle against the crusader aggression.
