520			_aA total of 40 adult females with de Quervain's Tenosynovitis participated in this study. Their ages were ranged from 25-35 years and their body mass index (BMI) will not exceed 30 kg/m2.They were randomized into two equal groups. Group (A) it was consisted of 20 patients. Each patient had received sessions of therapeutic ultrasound on the tender point of the dominant hand near the base of the thumb over the styloid process of the radius. While group (B) it was consisted of 20 patients. Each patient had received placebo therapeutic ultrasound on the same point as group A Methods of evaluation: The evaluative procedures were done for all patients in both groups (A&B) before and after treatment course using visual analogue scale and measuring serum cortisol level in the blood. therapeutic ultrasound was effective in relieving pain of de Quervain's Tenosynovitis after delivery.
520			_aشارك في هذه الدراسة مجموعه مكونة من 40 امرأة بالغة مصابة بالتهاب أوتار الأبهام. كانت أعمارهن تتراوح بين 25 و 35 سنة مؤشر كتلة الجسم لا تتجاوز 30 كجم/م2. تم تجميعهن عشوائيا في مجموعتين متساويتين. مجموعة (أ) كانت تتألف من 20 مريضة. تلقت كل مريضة جلسات من الموجات الفوق صوتية العلاجية على النقطة المؤلمة في اليد السائدة بالقرب من قاعدة الإبهام فوق عظمة الساعد وايضا قامت كل مريضه بعمل تمرينات علاجية و ارتداء جبيرة إصبع الإبهام طوال اليوم وخلعها أثناء النوم والاستحمام طوال فترة العلاج (8 أسابيع). بينما مجموعة (ب) كانت تتألف من 20 مريضة. تلقت كل مريضة الموجات الفوق صوتية الوهمية على نفس النقطة كما في مجموعة (أ) وايضا قامت كل مريضه بعمل تمرينات علاجية و ارتداء جبيرة إصبع الإبهام طوال اليوم وخلعها أثناء النوم والاستحمام طوال فترة العلاج (8 أسابيع). طرق التقييم: تم إجراء إجراءات التقييم لجميع المرضى في المجموعتين (أ و ب) قبل وبعد العلاج باستخدام المقياس التناظري البصري وقياس مستوى الكورتيزول في الدم. كانت الموجات الفوق صوتية العلاجية فعالًة في تخفيف ألم التهاب أوتار الأبهام في السيدات بعد الولادة.
