However, the neglect, demolition, and lack of proper documentation of heritage sites threaten this invaluable resource. As recent development projects and urbanization accelerate, the risk of losing significant heritage buildings increases, making it crucial to prioritize documentation and preservation efforts. The study discusses the potentials and challenges of implementing Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM) technology in heritage documentation, suggesting a comprehensive workflow for its proper integration into heritage documentation practices in Egypt, fostering more successful and inclusive heritage conservation efforts.
