520		3	_aBackground/Aim: A key aspect of hand function is dexterity, which is described as fine voluntary movements used to manipulate small objects during a specific task. The contralateral hand in children with hemiparetic cerebral palsy (CP); is commonly referred to as a "good" and "unimpaired" hand, while others have noted that it has subtle limitations. Therefore, this study aimed to assess and compare between the strength and dexterity of less-affected hand of children with hemiparetic CP and the dominant hand of normal peers. Methods: A sample of 120 volunteer children from both sexes and age ranged from 6 to 10 years participated in this study. Out of the 120 children, sixty were normal typically developing (TD) and sixty children with hemiparetic CP. Assessment of fine motor dexterity and grip and pinch strength were carried out by the Functional dexterity test (FDT) and Pneumatic squeeze Blub Dynamometer respectively. Results: The results showed that there was a significant lower in pinch and grip strength (p < 0.01) and significant higher FDT scores of children with hemiparetic CP compared with that of TD children (p= 0.001). Moreover, there was a significant higher functional levels in TD children compared with that of children with hemiparetic CP (p < 0.001) with no significant difference between groups in penalty distribution (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Children with hemiparetic CP underperformed with their less-affected hand than the dominant hand of TD age matched peers. Future researches on bilateral hand function may be used to determine the best rehabilitation interventions.
520		3	_aالخلفية / الهدف : احد الجوانب الرئيسية لوظيفة اليد هوالمهارة والتى توصف بانها حركة طوعية دقيقة للتعامل مع الأشياء الصغيرة أثناء مهمة محددة . اليد المقابلة لدى الأطفال المصابين بالخدل النصفى كان يطلق عليها اليد السليمة او اليد غير العاجزة بينما اخرون لاحظوا وجود اختلالات دقيقة بها ولهذا اجريت هذة الدراسة لتوضيح قوة ومهارة اليد الأقل إصابة لدى اللأطفال المصابين بالخدل النصفى: دراسة مقارنة بنظائرهم الأصحاء. مواد البحث واساليبة : أجريت هذة الدراسة على 120 طفل مقسمين الى مجموعتين المجموعة الأولى تضم 60 من الأطفال الاصحاء تم اختيارهم من المد ارس الأبتدائية بمحافظة سوهاج والمجموعة الثانية تضم 60 طفلا مصابين بالخدل النصفى تم اختيارهم حسب المواصفات الأتية درجة التشنج العضلى يتراوح مابين 1 الى 1+ على حسب مقياس أشورت المعدل .جميع الأطفال فى المجموعتين يتراوح عمرهم ما بين 6 الى 10 سنوات و لديهم القدرة على تنفيذ و اتباع التعليمات.تم تقييم جميع الحالات باستخدام الديناموميتر ومقياس المهارة الوظيفية ومقياس أشورت المعدل حيث استخدم الديناموميتر لقياس قوة القبضة وقوة القرص فى اليد السائدة فى الأطفال الأصحاء واليد الأقل إصابة فى الأطفال المصابين بالخدل النصفى واستخدم مقياس المهارة الوظيفية لقياس مهارة اليد السائدة فى الأطفال الأصحاء واليد الأقل إصابة فى الأطفال المصابين بالخدل النصفى. النتائج أظهرت النتائج التى تم الحصول عليها من هذة الدراسة وجود فوارق ذات دلالة إحصائية فى متوسط قياس الديناموميتر ومقياس المهارة الوظيفية فى المجموعة الأولى عند مقارنتة بالقيمة المقابلة فى المجموعة الثانية الأستنتاج: بناءا على نتائج هذة الدراسة نستطيع ان نستخلص ان اليد الأقل إصابة فى الأطفال المصابين بالخدل النصفى تكون اقل قوة ومهارة عند مقارنتها باليد السائدة فى الأطفال الاصحاء.
