520		3	_aتعتبر الإدارة المالية إحدى الطرق التي تهدف إلى تقليل المخاطر المالية ويتم تحقيق هذا الهدف من خلال اختيار مجموعات من فرق العمل تمثل المراحل المختلفة لدراسة المعلومات والبيانات وتدقيقها وتحليل البدائل وإعداد التقارير النهائية. ويتركز هدف عمل هذا الفريق في تطوير عدد من البدائل التي تحقق الهدف بأقل تكلفة من خلال خطة مالية معينة. وبالرغم من كون علم تدبير الموارد المالية من العلوم الشيقة والمثيرة وذات النظم دائمة التغير إلا أنه يظل من العلوم الصعبة لدى كثير من المهندسين وهذا ما تم مراعاته أثناء الدراسة و البحث. وانطلاقاً من هذا المبدأ تم البدء في مناقشة أهداف الإدارة المالية وتوضيح الكيفية التي يستطيع من خلالها كل من المدير أو المستثمر استخدام المحاسبة لتقدير وتقييم أداء المؤسسات وما تحققه من هذه الأهداف. ولقد دفع ظهور علم الإدارة المالية العديد من الباحثين إلى البحث والكتابة عنه- وتطبيق هذا العلم في العديد من الصناعات والمؤسسات للاستفادة من مميزاته على المدى القريب والبعيد. ونتيجة لهذا حدث تطور هائل في أساليب التطبيق وظهرت نتائج هامة ومؤثرة وقد قدم العديد من الباحثين أبحاثاً ومؤلفات هامة في مجالات الإدارة المالية وقدموا اقتراحات عديدة لتحسينها.
