520		3	_aAim: the aim of the current study was to evaluate the efficacy of using patient specific Zirconium Dioxide implant for management of chronic condylar dislocation. Methods: Eight patients were included in the study, all selected from the outpatients clinic of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University. The patient ranged in age from 22 to 30 years, all of them were diagnosed for having chronic recurrent dislocation of the temporomandibular joint, four of which treated by patient specific Zirconia eminoplasty bilaterally as a study group and the other four treated by patient specific titanium eminoplasty with a total of sixteen joints. Results: The follow-up period ranged from 6 months to 1 year, Mean value of Difference in maximal inter-incisal distance of Study group (14.5±2.89) mm was comparable to the mean value of control group (16.6±2.33) mm and the difference was not statistically significant (p=0.309), Mean value of Postoperative pain values of Study group (3.25±1.26) mm was better than the mean value of control group (6.75±2.06) mm and the difference was statistically significant (p=0.044) Conclusion: The innovated patient-specific Zirconia eminoplasty represents an accurate Alternative for treatment of chronic recurrent TMJ dislocation.
520		3	_aكان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تقييم مدى فعالية استخدام غرسات ثاني أكسيد الزركونيوم الخاصة بالمريض لعلاج التخلخل المزمن بالفك، على عكس غرسات التيتانيوم الخاصة بالمريض. شملت هذه الدراسة ما مجموعه ثمانية مرضى أظهروا خلعًا ثنائيًا، مع تعيين أربعة مرضى لكل مجموعة. تضمنت معايير الاختيار لهؤلاء المرضى تاريخًا موثقًا من التعرض لمرتين على الأقل من تخلخل بالفك كل يوم. تكونت العينة من خمس مرضى إناث وثلاثة مرضى ذكور. تم اختيار المشاركين في الدراسة من العيادة الخارجية للفم و قسم الوجه والفكين التابع لكلية طب الفم والأسنان جامعة القاهرة. وشملت معايير الاختيار الفحص السريري وشامل تقييم التاريخ الطبي وطب الأسنان للمرضى. تم تقسيم الأشخاص الذين تم اختيارهم إلى مجموعتين متساويتين في الحجم. تتألف مجموعة الدراسة من ثمانية مفاصل، حيث يخضع كل مفصل لعملية زراعه الربوه المفصليه باستخدام الزركونيا الخاصة بالمريض وتتكون المجموعة الضابطة من ثمانية مفاصل، حيث يخضع كل مفصل للعلاج باستخدام عملية زراعه الربوه المفصليه باستخدام التيتانيوم الخاصة بالمريض. تم جمع البيانات الأساسية، بما في ذلك الانخفاض في قياس الحد الأقصى للفتح بين القواطع وتخفيف الألم بعد العملية الجراحية، وانخفاض المدة أثناء العملية الجراحية، وتحسين رضا المرضى. وتراوحت فترة متابعة الحالات من ستة أشهر إلى سنة. وأشار تحليل نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه في ختام فترة الـ 12 شهرا، أظهرت قياسات كلا المجموعتين تحسنا كبيرا، مما أدى إلى معدلات نجاح ملحوظة. ومع ذلك، أظهرت مجموعة الدراسة مستويات أقل من الألم بعد العملية الجراحية وزيادة فعالية التكلفة مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة.
