520		3	_aThis study investigates the impact of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) on operational efficiency and competitive advantage in the medicinal herbs industry, focusing on Agripure Egypt Co., a leading exporter of organic chamomile. The primary objective of this study is to examine how VSM can identify inefficiencies, minimize waste, and lower carbon footprints across the supply chain, using a mixed-methods approach, the research combines case study analysis of Agripure’s production workflow with statistical validation via employee surveys (n=83) to assess VSM’s role in streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving sustainability. Key findings reveal that VSM implementation: 1. Reduced lead times by 39% (from 33 to 20 days) through optimized drying, sorting, and inventory management. 2. Lowered CO₂ emissions by 37% by transitioning to solar-powered equipment and optimizing transportation. 3. Improved cost efficiency (89.6% employee agreement) and product quality retention (75% post-VSM). Statistical analysis (Cronbach’s α > 0.83; p < 0.01) confirmed strong correlations between VSM dimensions (time, cost, transportation efficiency, environmental impact) and competitive advantage (R² = 73.2%). Employees highlighted VSM’s role in enhancing export compliance (89.9% agreement) and market competitiveness (89.6% agreement). The study concludes that VSM is a critical tool for lean-green integration in agricultural exports, offering actionable insights for industries seeking to align operational efficiency with sustainability goals. Recommendations include scaling solar energy adoption and further automation to strengthen Agripure’s global market position.
520		3	_aتستكشف هذه الدراسة تأثير أداة خريطة تدفق القيمة (VSM) على الكفاءة التشغيلية والميزة التنافسية في صناعة النباتات الطبية، مع التركيز على شركة أجريبور مصر كمصدر رئيسي للبابونج العضوي. اعتمد البحث على منهجية مختلطة تجمع بين تحليل دراسة الحالة لسير العمل الإنتاجي في الشركة والتحليل الإحصائي عبر استبيانات موظفين (عينة = 83) لتقييم دور خريطة التدفق في تبسيط العمليات وتقليل الهدر وتعزيز الاستدامة. أبرز النتائج: ١. خفض زمن دورة الإنتاج 39% (من 33 إلى 20 يومًا) عبر تحسين عمليات التجفيف والفرز وإدارة المخزون. ٢. تقليل انبعاثات الكربون 37% باستخدام الطاقة الشمسية وتحسين النقل. ٣. تحسين كفاءة التكلفة (موافقة 89.6% من العينة) وجودة المنتج (احتفاظ 75% من الجودة بعد التطبيق). أكد التحليل الإحصائي(معامل كرونباخ ألفا > 0.83، p < 0.01 )علاقات قوية بين أبعاد خريطة التدفق (الوقت، التكلفة، كفاءة النقل، الأثر البيئي) والميزة التنافسية (R² = 73.2%). كما أبرز الموظفون دور الأداة في تعزيز توافق الصادرات مع المعايير الدولية (موافقة 89.9%) والقدرة التنافسية (89.6%). تلخص الدراسة إلى أن خريطة تدفق القيمة أداة حاسمة لدمج مبادئ الإدارة الرشيقة والاستدامة في الصادرات الزراعية، مع تقديم توصيات عملية مثل التوسع في استخدام الطاقة الشمسية والأتمتة لتعزيز موقع الشركة في الأسواق العالمية.
