It also includes the importance of the research, the reasons for choosing it, the problem of the research, its difficulties, previous studies, and the research methodology. The introduction is followed by the preface, which includes a study of the era of the Mohammad Ali Dynasty and their interest in the arts and their care, the establishment of distinguished palaces, and the acquisition of valuable and rare artifacts that filled the major museums in Egypt.Then the first section is the descriptive study supported by pictures of the artistic pieces in the various museums in Cairo that were inlaid with shell works.Section Two: Analytical study of raw materials (shells - ivory - bone) and what is shells and methods of extraction and how to use them as well as industrial methods and styles followed by decorative elements represented by badges and logos, written inscriptions, architectural elements, plant decorations and finally geometric shapes and then industrial centers and artistic styles .
