520		3	_aBackground: The Outpatient Physical Therapy Improvement in Movement Assessment Log (OPTIMAL) is a self-reported instrument designed to assess difficulty and confidence in performing functional movements among physical therapy outpatients. While the OPTIMAL has been translated into several languages, no validated Arabic version exists. Purpose: This study aimed to translate, culturally adapt, and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the OPTIMAL (OPTIMAL-Ar) for use among Arabic-speaking physical therapy outpatients. Methods: The study involved three expert panels (10 experts each) and 880 adult outpatients (mean age: 35.21 ± 9.00 years) from various physiotherapy clinics. The OPTIMAL-Ar underwent translation, cultural adaptation, and rigorous psychometric testing, including face validity, content validity, construct validity, internal consistency reliability, and test-retest reliability. Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha, while test-retest reliability was evaluated using intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC). Construct validity was examined through factor analysis and correlations with the Activities-specific Balance Confidence (ABC) Scale. Results: The OPTIMAL-Ar demonstrated excellent internal consistency, with Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.950 for the total score, 0.908 for the difficulty domain, and 0.909 for the confidence domain. Test-retest reliability was high, with ICC values of 0.999 for the total score and individual domains (p < 0.001). Factor analysis revealed an eight-factor structure, explaining 80.81% of the total variance. Strong negative correlations were observed between the OPTIMAL-Ar and the ABC Scale at baseline (r = -0.915, p = 0.001) and one week later (r = -0.914, p = 0.001), confirming construct validity. The OPTIMAL-Ar was feasible, with an average completion time of 17.41 ± 3.69 minutes and minimal missing data (0.04 ± 0.20 items). Conclusion: The Arabic version of the OPTIMAL is a reliable, valid, and feasible instrument for assessing functional movement difficulty and confidence among Arabic-speaking physical therapy outpatients. Its strong psychometric properties make it a valuable tool for clinical and research settings.
520		3	_aالخلفية: استبيان تحسن الحركة لمرضى العلاج الطبيعي الخارجي لسجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية و هو أداة تقييم ذاتية صُممت لقياس الصعوبة والثقة في أداء الحركات الوظيفية بين مرضى العلاج الطبيعي الخارجي. بينما تمت ترجمة سجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية إلى عدة لغات، لم تكن هناك نسخة عربية معتمدة قبل هذه الدراسة. الغرض: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى ترجمة وتكييف النسخة العربية من سجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية ثقافيًا وتقييم خصائصها السيكومترية للاستخدام بين مرضى العلاج الطبيعي الخارجي الناطقين باللغة العربية. الطريقة: اشتملت الدراسة على ثلاث لجان خبراء (10 خبراء في كل لجنة) و880 مريضًا بالغًا (متوسط العمر: 35.21 ± 9.00 سنة) من عيادات علاج طبيعي مختلفة. خضعت النسخة العربية لسجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية لعملية ترجمة وتكيف ثقافي واختبارات سيكومترية صارمة، بما في ذلك صلاحية الوجه، وصلاحية المحتوى، وصلاحية البناء، والاتساق الداخلي، وموثوقية الاختبار-إعادة الاختبار. تم تقييم الاتساق الداخلي باستخدام معامل كرونباخ ألفا (Cronbach’s alpha)، بينما تم تقييم موثوقية الاختبار-إعادة الاختبار باستخدام معاملات الارتباط داخل الفئة (ICC). تم فحص صلاحية البناء من خلال التحليل العاملي والارتباطات مع مقياس الثقة في التوازن المحدد للأنشطة (ABC Scale). النتائج: أظهرت النسخة العربية لسجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية اتساقًا داخليًا ممتازًا، حيث بلغت قيم كرونباخ ألفا 0.950 للدرجة الكلية، و0.908 لمجال الصعوبة، و0.909 لمجال الثقة. كانت موثوقية الاختبار-إعادة الاختبار عالية، حيث بلغت قيم ICC 0.999 للدرجة الكلية والمجالات الفردية (p < 0.001). كشف التحليل العاملي عن هيكل ثمانية عوامل يفسر 80.81% من التباين الكلي. لوحظت ارتباطات سلبية قوية بين النسخة العربية لسجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية ومقياس الثقة في التوازن المحدد للأنشطة (ABC Scale) عند الخط الأساسي (r = -0.915, p = 0.001) وبعد أسبوع واحد (r = -0.914, p = 0.001)، مما يؤكد صلاحية البناء. كانت النسخة العربية لسجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية قابلة للتطبيق، حيث بلغ متوسط وقت الإكمال 17.41 ± 3.69 دقيقة مع حد أدنى من البيانات المفقودة (0.04 ± 0.20) بند. الخلاصة: النسخة العربية من سجل تقييم الحركة في تحسن العلاج الطبيعي لمرضى العيادة الخارجية هي أداة موثوقة وصالحة وقابلة للتطبيق لتقييم الصعوبة والثقة في أداء الحركات الوظيفية بين مرضى العلاج الطبيعي الخارجي الناطقين باللغة العربية. تجعل خصائصها السيكومترية القوية منها أداة قيّمة في البيئات السريرية والبحثية.
