Inter-fragmentary lag screws fixation represents a very good method for dealing with such rotationally unstable fractures especially younger patients who showed better results. Lag screw fixation offers a good alternative for fixation of spiral fractures of metacarpals with results as similar as mini-plates but still with lower cost and smaller wounds. | |
