520		3	_aThis thesis investigates the ratcheting and shakedown behavior of defected pressurized pipelines under cyclic loading. A combined experimental and FE approach was employed to analyze the effects of defect geometry and loading conditions. The FE models were validated against the experimentally recorded outcomes revealing adequate correlation, achieving acceptable accuracy. Extensive parametric studies and logistic regression analyses were conducted to predict failure mechanisms. The findings provide valuable insights into structural integrity assessment and pipeline durability under cyclic stresses.
520		3	_aتُستخدم المواسير في تطبيقات صناعية حساسة مثل المحطات النووية والبتروكيميائية، حيث تتعرض لأحمال دورية قد تؤدي إلى دخولها في مرحلة اللدونة، خاصة مع وجود عيوب مثل الصدأ. الدراسات السابقة ركزت على المواسير السليمة، لكن هذه الدراسة تتناول سلوك المواسير المضغوطة التي تحتوي على عيوب وتتعرض لعزوم دورية. تم إعداد نموذج ثلاثي الأبعاد باستخدام Abaqus لمحاكاة هذا السلوك، مع تصميم جهاز اختبار خاص. كما تم اختبار خصائص مادة ماسورة 2 بوصة عمليًا واستخدامها في النمذجة. تهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل تأثير العيوب المختلفة على حدود التصعيد والسلوك اللدن.
