520		3	_aThe study aimed to compare early (2 months) vs. late (6 months) silicone oil removal in patients with primary rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. 62 patients were divided into two groups: Group A (2 months) and Group B (6 months). The study excluded patients with other eye diseases or systemic conditions. Results showed better retinal sensitivity in Group A, indicating better visual outcomes with early silicone oil removal, with no significant difference in post-operative complications.
520		3	_a هدفت الدراسة إلى مقارنة نتائج إزالة زيت السيليكون المبكر (بعد شهرين) والمتأخر (بعد 6 أشهر) لدى مرضى الانفصال الشبكي الرتجي الأولي. شملت الدراسة 62 مريضًا تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: الأولى (أ) خضعت لإزالة الزيت بعد شهرين، والثانية (ب) بعد 6 أشهر. استُبعِد المرضى الذين يعانون من أمراض عينية أو حالات صحية تؤثر على الرؤية. تهدف الدراسة إلى تقليل التحيز في اختيار الحالات الأكثر شدة. أظهرت النتائج أن المجموعة الأولى حققت حساسية شبكية أفضل مقارنةً بالمجموعة الثانية، بينما لم يظهر اختلاف في معدل المضاعفات بعد الجراحة.
