520		3	_aBackground: modified STarT Back Screening Tool (mSBST) was validated in the Dutch and Thai versions for adults with non-specific neck pain to provide risk stratification groups. But no Arabic version was developed on mSBST. Objectives: to translate mSBST into Arabic version and test validity and test reliability on patients with non-specific neck pain. Methods: translation of modified STarT Back into Arabic version at the Cairo University Center for Foreign Languages and Specialized Translation, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. A number of 135 non-specific neck patients of both males and females aged 18 and older from different out-patients clinics in Egypt were recruited. All patients completed the questionnaires (Numeric pain rating scale (NPRS-AR), Neck disability index (NDI-AR), Pain catastrophizing scale (PCS-AR), Tampa scale of kinesiophobia (TSK-AR), Euro Quality of live – 5D-5L-AR, General perceived effect scale (GPE) and Modified STarT Back (mSBST-AR)) with an interval time of 3 days. Results: Arabic version of mSBST demonstrated excellent face and content validity. Correlations between total score of mSBST-AR and other questionnaires (NPRS-AR, NDI-AR, PCS-AR, TSK-AR, EQ-5D-AR, GPE) were moderate positive significant correlation (p < 0.001). Cronbach's alpha for mSBST-AR was 0.747 that means it had acceptable internal consistency and showed excellent test-retest reliability. Conclusion: Arabic version of mSBST is valid and reliable and can be used in both research and clinical settings to classify individuals with non-specific neck pain in Egypt.
520		3	_aمقدمة: تم التحقق من صلاحية أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة في النسختين الهولندية والتايلاندية للبالغين الذين يعانون من آلام رقبة غير محددة لتقسيمهم الى مجموعات طبقا لشدة الخطورة، ولكن لم يتم تطوير نسخة عربية من أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة. الهدف: ترجمة أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة إلى النسخة العربية واختبار صلاحيتها وموثوقيتها على المرضى الذين يعانون من آلام رقبة غير محددة. الأساليب و المرضى: تم ترجمة أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة إلى النسخة العربية في مركز جامعة القاهرة للغات الأجنبية والترجمة المتخصصة، كلية الآداب، جامعة القاهرة. أُجريت هذه الرسالة على 135 مريضًا يعانون من آلام رقبة غير محددة، من الذكور والإناث، تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 عامًا فأكثر، من عيادات خارجية مختلفة في مصر. استكمل جميع المرضى الاستبيانات (مقياس تقييم الألم الرقمي، ومؤشر الاعاقة الوظيفية، ومقياس شدة الألم، ومقياس تامبا لرهاب الحركة، و مقياس يوروكول لتقييم جودة الحياة، ومقياس التأثير العام المتوقع، وأداة فحص الظهر المعدلة) بفاصل زمني قدره 3 أيام. النتائج: أظهرت النسخة العربية من أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة صلاحية ممتازة للواجهة والمحتوى. كانت الارتباطات بين الدرجة الكلية لأداة فحص الظهر المعدلة والاستبيانات الأخرى (مقياس تقييم الألم الرقمي، ومؤشر الاعاقة الوظيفية، ومقياس شدة الألم، ومقياس تامبا لرهاب الحركة، و مقياس يوروكول لتقييم جودة الحياة، ومقياس التأثير العام المتوقع) ارتباطًا إيجابيًا معتدلًا ذا دلالة إحصائية (p < 0.001). بلغ معامل ألفا لـلنسخة العربية من أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة 0.724 مما يعني أنه يتمتع باتساق داخلي مقبول وأظهر موثوقية ممتازة لإعادة الاختبار. الاستنتاج: النسخة العربية من أداة فحص الظهر المعدلة صالحة وموثوقة ويمكن استخدامها في كل من الإعدادات البحثية والسريرية لتصنيف الأفراد الذين يعانون من آلام الرقبة غير المحددة في مصر.
