520 | _aE. coli is an opportunistic species comprising the normal flora in the gastrointestinal tracts of the warm-blooded animals. However, there are pathogenic strains that cause distinct syndromes of diarrheal disease. In this study a total of 117 rectal swabs from diarrheic cow (n=44) and buffaloes (n=73) and 476 mastitis milk (clinical and sub-clinical mastitis) from cows (n=112) and buffaloes (n=364) were collected from different farms located in Giza and Menofia governorates to detect E. coli. | ||
