520 _aA total of 135 random samples of some returned meat and poultry final products were collected from market in Egypt for isolation and identification of E. coli O157: H7 , S. aureus and Salmonella spp. The incidence of isolated E. coli O157 : H7 in some returned meat and poultry products were 9.1%, 18.2%, 0%, 18.2%, 9.1%,18.2%, 0% , 27.2% and 0% from beef burger, oriental susage, luncheon beef, minced meat, kofta, frozen hotdog, chilled hot dog, chicken burger and smoked turkey, respectively. As regards to Salmonella, attempts to recover salmonella from returned meat and poultry products failed in all products except smoked turkey (Rusto),where two isolates were recovered and identified as S. Typhimirium and S. Kentucky
