| 520 | _aCorrosion behavior of welded API X-52 pipe as well as base metal were studied for two working conditions (stressed&unstressed)in the following solutions: NS4 solution, NS4+(5%CO₂,95%N2), NS4+Na2Swith concentrations(0.4,2,4,10mMole/liter). The results showed that stressed specimen had higher corrosion rate than unstressed one. The corrosion rate obtained in NS4+ 5%CO₂ was lower than that in NS4 solution. The corrosion rate obtained in NS4+0.4mMNa2S was higher than that in NS4. Increasing Na₂S to 2mMole/liter, led to decrease the corrosion rate significantly, then a slight increase in corrosion rate was obtained at higher concentrations of Na₂S | ||
