520 _aObjectives:The aim of this study was to evaluate microleakage of a self-adhesive restorative in sub-gingival proximal cavities using three different application techniques, with or without mechanical loading. Moreover, to assess the effect of surface coating on the marginal seal of the studied groups. methods: Thirty human premolars where cleaned from blood, tissues and calculus and stored in saline at room temperature until use. The specimens where divided into three main groups according to the application technique, with or without surface coating. The groups where then further divided into two sub-groups half the specimens applied to 2000cycles thermocycling and 5000 cycles mechanical loading with a load of 10N, while the other half were not subjected to thermo-mechanical loading
