520 _aComputerized point of care reminder systems improve clinical documentation and follow - up, by allowing providers to easily view the activities and procedures that should performed and documented when care has been delivered. To assess the relationship between nurses 'reactions to computerized point-of- care reminder system and their quality of electronic nursing documentation in pediatric intensive care units. The study was conducted at children cancer hospital Egypt (CCHE) 57357, in two general and surgical ICU. Sample: two samples were utilized in the current study, the first sample was a convenience sample of staff nurses (No. 110) and second sample was patients' electronic nursing records data (No. 1250). A descriptive correlation design was utilized. Study data was collected through utilizing two tools as follows ;1) nurses 'reactions to computerized point of care reminder system observational check list and 2) quality of electronic nursing documentation audit. An overwhelming majority of study sample were adhered to computerized clinical reminders systems at point of care, in addition, all electronic documentation 'elements that attached with computerized clinical reminders systems at point of care were completed by the studied participants. Meanwhile, well over seventy percent of electronic documentation 'elements that not attached with computerized clinical reminders systems at point of care were completed. Overall, the result of the current study concluded that there was a statistically significant correlation between nurses{u2019} response to computerized clinical reminders systems at point of care and their quality of electronic nursing documentation in pediatric oncology ICUs recommendation: Significant findings can be used to encourage CCHE 57357 to add the rest of computerized clinical reminders systems at point of care in electronic medical records systems and to add voice alarm with visual alarms to ensure high quality of documentation
