With this aim, a methodology has been developed to estimate the failure rates and understand the failure mechanism of individual wind turbines under the conditions of different locations and expanding generation capacity. Regarding to the final results, it was provided an insight into efficient wind energy generation and turbine operation with better maintenance actions
