520 _aThis work has been carried out to investigate: 1- Spectrophotometric determination of fenoprofen calcium FPC in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparation via charge transfer complex formation between FPC (electron donor) and DDQ, PA and QZ (s-acceptor) reagents, respectively. 2- Spectrophotometric determination of alfuzosin hydrochloride Alf.HCl drug in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparation through the ion-pair formation reaction with eriochrome cyanine R (ECR) reagent. 3- Elucidation of the chemical structure of the solid CT complexes formed between FPC (electron donor) and DDQ, PA and QZ (s-acceptor) reagents, respectively, using elemental analysis (C, H, N), IR, thermal analysis and mass spectrometry. 4- Development of unmodified carbon paste ion selective electrode for the determination of Alf.HCl drug in pure form and pharmaceutical preparation
