520 | _aBackground : Children with spastic cerebral palsy have a pelvic instability which affecton selective movement and functional ability. Purpose: of this study is to determine effect of pelvic stability training on selective movement and functional ability in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods:Thirty two children with spastic cerebral palsy participated in this study and were divided into two equal groups,(control and study). Selective motor control , Peabody scales and kinovia computer program were used for assessment of selective motor control ,functional ability and range of motion before and after treatment. The control group received a designed physical therapy program; Their mean ± SD age was 5.25 ± 1.12 years with maximum value of 7 years and minimum value of 4 years, and the study group received pelvic stability program in addition to the designed physical therapy program,Their mean ± SD age was 5.43 ± 1.09 years with maximum value of 7 years and minimum value of 4 years, for twelve weeks 3 times weekly for both groups. Results: significant improvement in all variables of selective motor control ,range of motion and Peabody variables in both groups in favour of study group | ||
