520 _aModern antimicrobials are supposed to be superior to the traditional disinfectants during caries treatment .Their diverse modalities are currently tests in recent literature. This work aims to evaluate the antibacterial efficiency of: Photodynamic therapy of methylene blue with 650 nm diode laser on streptococcus mutans in induced caries model. Silver nanoparticles and diode laser 980 nm on streptococcus mutans in induced caries model.Material & Methods: Two hundred forty specimens were prepared and equally divided into eight groups.Seven groups were subjected to either Ag NPs, laser 980, Ag NPs plus laser 980, MB, laser 650, MB and Laser 650 or MB plus laser 650 plus Ag NPs and one group was untreated and used as control
