520 _aThe present thesis comprises four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction which comprises the syntheses of pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives and the anticancer activity of some reported pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives. The second chapter demonstrates the aim of the work, along with the schemes that had been carried out to obtain new pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives. The third chapter explains the theoretical discussion of the experimental work along with the anticancer activity of all the synthesized compounds and the results of the cytotoxic activity. The fourth chapter consists of the experimental part of this work including the detailed procedures used for the synthesis of target compounds. In addition, the physical properties of the synthesized compounds, their elemental analyses and their spectral data are illustrated. Finally, the docking steps and the docking scores of all the compounds are shown
