The present study investigated the bone regeneration potential of xenografts versus Platelet-Rich fibrin in immediate implants in mandibular molars.Twenty patients with an age range of 18-45 were enrolled in this study. All patients were indicated for immediate implant placement with a total of 20 implants placed. The selection criteria was patient with at least 9 mm of residual bone height and sufficient inter-septal bone based upon the preoperative CBCT, to avoid inferior alveolar bone injury and free of any medical conditions that may impair bone healing. The atraumatic extraction was carried out using rotary instruments and periotomes. Implants were placed into the inter-septal bone of mandibular molar followed by placement of xenograft placement covered by collagen membrane and tissue approximating sutures were made. In the study group the implants are placed also in the interseptal bone followed by placement of Platelet rich fibrin as space filling material,The residual bone changes were measured 6 months post-operatively using the immediate post-operative Cone-beam as a baseline reference
