| Summary, etc. | This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between glenohumeral subluxation and hand dexterity in patients with stroke. This study had been carried out on thirty patients from both sexes, previously diagnosed to have cerebrovascular accident, the duration of condition was more than 6 months. Their ages ranged from 45-65 years old. The patients were selected from Faculty of Physical Therapy-Cairo, University and Al-Kasr Alainy Hospital., Cairo, Egypt. Glenohumeral subluxation was assessed by X-ray and Finger Breadth test, hand dexterity was assessed by Purdue Pegboard Test. Data were collected and statistically analyzed.<br/>The results of the study showed significant differences between x-ray analysis scores and purdue pegboard scores, significant difference between the VAN scores and PPBT scores with no correlation between FMA and x-ray analysis scores. |
