Summary, etc. Background : Super paramagnetic nanoparticle can serve as a drug carrier in controolled drug delivery and targeted at cancer diagnostics and therapeutics .In this work the super paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles synthesized by co- precipitation method and the conjugate is made of iron oxide nanoparticles covalently bound with methotrexate (MTX) a chemotherapeutic drug that can targetmany cancer cells whose surfaces are overexpressed by folate receptors
