Tamoxifen is metabolized to give 4-hydroxytamoxifen and 4-hydroxy N-desmethy1 Tamoxifen (Endoxifen) giving higher binding to Estrogen Receptor (ER) and higher potency in berast cancer calls. CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 are responsible for metabolizing Tamoxifen |
