Summary: هدفت الدراسة الحالية في تطوير أدوار الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين في مجال التنمية المهنية للمعلم، في ضوء خبرات بعض الدول، التعريف بأهم الاتجاهات التربوية الحديثة في مجال التنمية المهنية للمعلم، والاسترشاد بها في تطوير أدوار الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين، والتعريف بطبيعة الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين محليًّا وعالميًّا، من حيث فلسفتها، وأهدافها، وأدوارها، وتستخدم الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، تم تحديد حجم عينة البحث، وَفْقَ المعالم التي تم تحديدها في ضَوْء حجم المجتمع محلّ البحث (أعضاء هيئة التعليم المصري، ومديرو فروع الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين بالمحافظات والمدربون، والمراجعون الخارجيون المعتمدون بالأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين)، حيث درجة الثقة (95%)، نسبة الخطأ المسموح به بحدود (5%)، ودرجة الصلاحية(2%).Summary: The study aims of developing the roles of the professional academy for teachers in Egypt in light of the experiences of some countries. Introducing the most important modern educational trends in the field of teachers’ professional development and utilizing them in developing the roles of the PAT. Defining the nature of the PAT, locally and internationally, in terms of its philosophy, goals and roles. Highlighting the most important justifications calling for the development of the PAT at the present time, with the aim of improving its roles in teachers’ professional development, in light of recent trends. The study uses the descriptive approach, which reviews how to develop the roles of the PAT. The size of the sample was determined according to the parameters identified in light of the size of the population (Teachers, directors of the branches of the PAT in governorates, trainers and external auditors accredited by the PAT, where the degree of confidence is (95%), the permissible percentage of error is within (5%), and the degree of validity is (2%).
