مستخلص البحث: هدف البحث الحاضر إلى دراسة معتقدات تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية نحو استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وقد شملت عينة البحث 300 تلميذ وتلميذة والذي تتراوح أعمارهم بين (9-12) سنة، من تلاميذ مدارس (حكومي، وخاص، وتجريبي)، وتلاميذ بيئات مختلفة (قرية، ومدينة) بمحافظة الجيزة، واعتمد البحث على منهج دراسة الحالة، وتكونت أدوات البحث من: مقياس المعتقدات، واستمارة المقابلة الشخصية، وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن أنه يوجد فرق دال إحصائيًا بين متوسطي استجابات تلاميذ مجموعتي البحث وفقًا للنوع في مقياس معتقدات تلاميذ المرحلة الإبتدائية نحو استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لصالح مجموعة الإناث، وهناك تشابه بين استجابات أفراد العينة وفقًا للمتغيرات الديموغرافية مثل نوع المدرسة في الغرض من الاستخدام، وعدد ساعات الاستخدام في استمارة المقابلة الشخصية.

Today's world is witnessing a massive scientific explosion and a qualitative revolution in the field of information through which the world has become a small village. Any news can be transmitted in a short period of time via satellites, computers, the Internet, television, and other such means, and means of communication and technology have begun to provide great communication between members of society. However, some psychologists believe that permanent reliance on these means will create a generation of teenagers who have lost the ability to communicate after chatting and communicating through social networking sites have become the largest amount of interest at the expense of direct, live interaction with the rest of the individuals. The primary stage is one of the delicate stages that the student goes through, it is the beginning of the student's breakthrough towards society, in which the role of the family weakens to some extent and the group of comrades begins to appear. The current research aims to know the beliefs of primary school students towards the use of social networking sites. Constructivism is considered one of the most influential learning theories in the study of beliefs because the idea of belief studies is strongly based on the assumptions of constructivism. The current research aims to know the beliefs of primary school students towards using social networking sites and their relationship to some demographic variables, including (grade, gender, environment, and type of school).
