The resent study investigated the effect of using reflective teaching in enhancing critical reading skills in English for 1st grade secondary stage students. The researcher developed a critical reading skills checklist (CRSC) and the pre and post tests, These instruments were used for assessing the students' progress in critical reading skills and their attitudes towards the used approach in teaching these skills
