Sepsis is the leading cause of death in patients admitted in intensive care units (ICUs) (Jacobi, 2002). Hepatic, dysfunction represents a common manifestation during the sepsis process, ranging from a mild elevation of serum bilirubin and / or liver enzymes to severe hepatic failure (Vermillion et al., 1999). The aim of current study was to investigate the relation between sepsis in (PICU) and hepatic dysfunction in children admitted to Pediatric emergency department of Cairo university children hospital
