A series of cationic schiff base surfactants (SB8, SB12, SB16 and SB18) prepared and the surface parameters of them determined at 25{u00B0}C and the zinc complexes of these surfactants are prepared the prepared surfactants and their complexes are investigated using elemental analysis, infrared (FTIR), ¹H-NMR spectroscopy. Colloidal solutions of silver (AgNPs) and zinc oxide nanoparticles self-assembled with the cationic surfactants were prepared and investigated using UV-Vis. infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope TEM
