Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Animal Production
The present study was conducted to determine the best levels of methionine and folic acid in low protein diets to achieve sparing effect to realize optimum quails performance, decrease environmental contamination and minimize the production cost. The results indicated that diet containing 22% crude protein, 0.5% methionine level and 3.4mg folic acid/kg would be ideal for achievement of optimum performance, digestibility coefficients of nutrients, utilization of dietary protein and carcass characteristics with positive impact on profitability
