The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of using a proposed strategy based on pictorial reading approach for enhancing English vocabulary learning skills among fifth year primary stage pupils. The participants of the study consisted of 60 fifth year primary school pupils. They were divided into 30 pupils for the control group and 30 pupils for the experimental group. The experiment lasted for nearly two months in the second semester of the school year 2015/2016.
