The Present explores the possibility and manner of attempting to balance fidelity and fluency in Qur'an translations to word off the effects of going too far towards either pole of the literal or paraphrase translations approaches, which create different problems. This study had dual objective: (a) investigating the opinion of non-Arab speaking Muslims and non-Muslims about their preferred Qur'an translations approach as well as their problems whith current translations and aspirations for future translations
