Neuro- inflammation is one of the most important factors underlying neurodegeneration which triggers oxidative stress state and the subsequent neuronal death. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a potent inflammogen ehich causes cognitive dysfunction. Boswellia serrata was known many years ago as a powerful anti- inflammatory herbal drug.
