This work was carried out to study the incidence of bacteria which caused food poisoning in retail foods (Meat products, poultry meat and salted fish) which collected from Menia ELkameh city , Sharqia Governorate. The result revealed that the APC ranged from 4.1 {u00D7}10⁵ ± 4.1 {u00D7}10⁴ to 2.9 {u00D7}107 ± 1.1 {u00D7}107 ,where the high APC were in sausage and the lower APC in chicken fillet . The isolated bacteria were E.coli by 30 %, Salmonella by 20 %, S.aureus by12 % ,B.cereus by13 % and C.perfringens by 16% and the typing of toxin type by multiplex PCR revealed type A
